Actually, you'll probably dig the hell out of this VRC6 track. I was going for an abrupt, distraught ending... thoughts, anyone?

Hey guys. I made another track and I'd love to hear some feedback on it.

Edit: It helps if I hit the upload file button, too. Sorry about that.

Hey guys, I've been working on a track that I'm having a few issues trying to continue. It was supposed to be for a halloween compo (which didn't happen anyway, so hey, relief;) I just can't figure out where I want it to go.

I was going for a feeling of if Slender was for the NES, and you happened to be in the woods behind a creepy mansion.

Any ideas, comments, criticism, compliments?

Why did you use the obsolete Exx command? There is a volume column to use instead ya know.

Been listening to the first tracks you posted, they're great! Particularly like Get Awesome and Dark. They're just the sort of chiptunes I'd like to write but never come out.

BTW, did you nick the chord sequence of (or more diplomatically put were you inspired by) this for Get Awesome, or is it just coincidence?

It took me a minute or two to remember what it was but the melody came right back to me when I played your tune. Both good tunes.

Oops, I did? Which song? I'll fix that...

WHOA. It's coincidence, but that's totally awesome! The whole song just hit me in sporadic moments. The only thing I was inspired by was the beginning-- I realized Get Awesome's beginning was similar to RainbowDragonEyes' EUR HAWT 200X a year after I released the album. It makes sense, because when I was writing that song RDE, dubmood and Oxygenstar made up a good portion of my chip playlist.

And of course, thanks for the compliments, guys!

Hey guys, two things...

1) You guys HAVE NOT heard this track yet, as it's supposed to be released in December (but I'm stupid excited to show it to someone.)

2) I'm running a monthly web show called CLIPstream, and we want to showcase more famitracker users. Message me here, on the facebook page, or you could hit me up on NoiseChannel.

In the meantime, I'm almost done with this track, I just need to polish the ending. It also needs a name. I'm thinking about naming it "Snow Day."

Hey guys, I have two more I've made since the last time I updated this thread...

MAGFest? More Like... MAG.... F...FUCK YEAH! - A song I made while on a 10 hour bus ride to MAGFest to rock out with a bunch of other chip artists (including some pretty awesome famitracker users!)

FUCK YOU (And the Airhorn You Rode In On) - Insert my hatred for Airhorns being overused in reggaeton, how reggaeton annoys me, etc. ... In all reality I just wanted to attempt the pulse instrument airhorn, and it came out decently.

Edit: Awww, damn it, I can't update the thread headline any more? Damn... Welp, it's been updated since 12-22-12, folks.

Hahaha, in hindsight, that's exactly what I should have done with frame 05. Nice touch-up!

Man, how have I *NOT* posted this here?

So, after hearing a cover by Ghostface Kilobyte and needing to really put together a valentine's day EP with some friends, I came up with this cover of "Always Be my Baby" by Mariah Carey.

I've played it at venues in Boston and HOLY SHIT the sing-a-long to it has been great!

If you don't recognize it, just think of a time where Mariah Carey was hot (protip: She still is.)

Why is it that when you're drunk, your music still sounds excellent?
Not that I could even begin to compare that to me.
'cause.
Y'know.
14 and stuff.
