i think i liked zephemeros's the most, though the two that won were great as well. a lot of these songs had OK melodies but terrible sound design, or OK sound design but they used the same 1 or 2 chords the entire song, which got really old. also gyms, your song makes sense, good composition, good sound design, but it's a lot of smaller ideas thrown together - i can imagine you just going "ugh fuck this song, starting another" and getting to the end and going "fine i'll just throw them together" :P
Yeah, I submitted mine pretty early on. Before the extension, I realized that having a real chord progression is cool, and thought of one, but I never edited my copy. When the extension came around, I didn't bother resubmitting, and now I regret that. Oh well.

So, the next contest is 2A03+MMC5 covers? I thought it was going to be 2A03 (with DPCM) covers...?
