Edit: I tried this again with the 44100Hz on, and it doesn't make squeals/hisses. So, Ignore the "Listen with 22050 Hz" message when you open it. I was probably getting the hissing because it had 8 channels during the making.
Why would my ears explode? You're only using 4 channels in this, and less than 7 do not produce audible noise. (Personally I can stand the 8-channel hissing even, no problem)
Very atmospheric by the way, and all this with just two instruments.
I didn't use any FX either, with the exception of C00 to stop the song. Most of my songs don't use FX, but if they do it's mostly Bxx, Cxx, 4xy, Qxy, and Rxy.
