I'm sure you do. Anyways, I quote myself from YouTube:
I'll be the first to say that Rock Man 8 was the weakest of the numbered games, but I will always respect the soundtrack. You did a damn fine job here ^_^
Don't think I need to say anything else ^_^

Thank you!
For some weird reason I can't reply to you in Youtube... Anyway, I'll say it here then.
I don't think that MM8 has THE weakest soundtrack, there are other games that are worse (in my opinion), and then there's those that have awful sound design like MMII for the GB. Of all the official Mega Man games, believe it or not, I actually enjoy covering MM8 songs the most, even though my favorite MM soundtrack is MM5. I don't know why but it's just fun to cover something that is not 8-bit, especially with N163 because I can somehow pick stuff like instruments from both the 8-bit songs and the original soundtrack. This also includes MM7!

I just think that MM8 is a bit underrated because I believe most of the songs can be more than how they currently sound and I think it's a shame that people haven't tried to improve these songs (most them care about MM2 Wily 1-2 which has been covered 5000 times inside out). I also have a feeling that people base their opinions on how the game itself looks like (If the game is bad, so is the soundtrack), which doesn't make any sense. However, if you and others think the soundtrack is bad, then I respect your opinion. I just think that MM8 has yet to shine (if it is possible).

[I think he didn't mean that about the soundtrack, but the game itself. He said he respects the soundtrack]

Anyway, the soundtrack of Mega Man 8 is really cool, I like it too. This cover is very good, I'd like to know if you have covered Mega Man 8 songs other than this and Frost Man.

Also, I like ice cream too!

Well, I'm currently working on Wily 1 and Search Man, but it will take a long time before I finish them. So far, I have figured out all the notes for Wily 1, but I'm having a little difficulties to get the sound design the way I want (I actually started with Wily 1 before Wily 2) and Search Man is not even close to completion.

But I've been lately thinking of doing some originals and songs from PS exclusive games like Metal Gear Solid and Uncharted. Actually, I have started to cover a song from a game released for PS2, but I don't want to mention the title here (only me and IaTM know which song I'm talking about), because I don't want to ruin the surprise

Search Man would be an interesting one to hear from you.

I'd like to cover some MM8 songs too but they take too much time and effort. I really admire that you are covering many of these songs, since for me Frost Man was really hard to cover.

Good luck, hope you are able to finish your songs and hope they are great once you do.

Very nice cover!

On a side note, on my first few listens I found some of the bass notes to be very dissonant to my ears, particularly the F-3 notes in frames 07 and 08. I assumed it was a mistake and was going to mention it here but I checked the original song and that's actually how it's supposed to sound! What an odd bit of composition.

Yeah, it made me scratch my head a bit, but I think this is not the first time this occurs. I can't remember any official songs, but I did a cover of Kevvviiinnn Stage 37 a while back and I'm pretty sure there are a few bass notes that could have been dissonant as well.

I noticed the bass too. But it's a good sound design. If there was one thing, though, it'd be to deepen that echo--delay the echo channel a bit, maybe.
