Feel free to crit any of these, they're all actively being worked on while I have the time. Keep in mind that these covers span from when I first started with FT, so sound and accuracy may vary. If I'm even trying to be accurate at all.
Also there may or may not also be a similar MMX file somewhere in my folders...
...I'm just going to be the guy that says this, but being the guy that has worked with a few of the songs on here (as well as studied RushJet1's take on the Rock Man 3 Soundtrack), you need to put even more work into it--by that, I mean "FINISH THIS PROJECT--I WANT THE ENDING RESULT" kind of deal. I'm not saying that the songs are bad--on the contrary, I think quite a few of the songs are a blast to listen to...like, I REALLY want you to finish Napalm Man so badly...it's my favorite Robot Master Theme of all time, man.
I worked with a few of these songs in Speed 1, particularly redoing RushJet1's Magnet Man, Plug Man (though in 3/4, not 4/4), RM5 Wily, and Splash Woman all in the past (and if you do Wave Man as well, I'd really like to enjoy what your take on it would be). Hearing everything in a different style of sorts is definitely enjoyable and I would personally love to see a completed version of this project at some point.
I believed that, while listening, many of the songs suffered from over-simplicity. I argued the same thing when listening to Rushjet1's works. Simplicity is great! I love it a lot as well. The thing is, there are some parts that I would personally like to have done...slightly different. Don't take this the wrong way--this is merely a personal complaint that I feel towards a lot of other works, probably a side-effect from Speed 1 (hah, side-effect of Speed).
You get a lot of respect from me for not using a DPCM channel and using the Triangle to get the extra effect, almost as if you're going Battletoads' Soundtrack, which I think is a rare but effective strategy.
Don't take ANY of this the wrong way. I very much enjoyed the listen and will await the finished project. Different takes on familiar songs are definitely fun to listen to. ^_^
