I went and tackled the Temple Run theme from the old Nickelodeon game show, The Legends of the Hidden Temple. To prevent from being as repetitive as the song itself, I shaved off a few seconds leading to the ending of the original song. :P
V03 shouldn't ever be used, use V01 instead. V03 just adds noise.
Um, what?

I'm saying the 75% duty cycle sounds bad and should be avoided. It's noisier than the almost identically sounding 25% duty cycle.
edit: I can hear 'rumbling' artifacts when you play two notes together at 75% duty, and can't hear the same artifacts at 25% duty. I also hear the same 'rumbling' artifacts at 50% duty.
But I can also see how 75% duty adds together differently than 25% duty, so I take back my "never use it" comment.
Back to the song, I'm loving it! I just think the drums don't decay enough, they stay too loud too long.
They sound exactly the same by their very nature... Surely it's not gonna sound any noisier if all you're doing is effectively flipping it over. o_O

Okay, now I remember why I didn't like 75% duty... It's because it works poorly in a duty envelope, you get a pop every time it switches from something else to 75%, and a pop every time it switches back from 75%.
Sorry for any previous stupidity.
Loving the song, never heard the original, but oh well. Sounds great.

All I will say is that I have never experienced this, perhaps it is your speakers?
Notice how the 75% is a flipped over version of the 25%. All the waves start off at the "off" position, except for the 75% which starts at the "on" position. So naturally, switching rapidly from any other duty cycle to 75% is bound to cause a pop. But if you're using it as a static duty cycle, then it's fine. It's not going to sound any noisier than the rest of the duty cycle settings.

I don't like the 75% pulse because it holds little advantage over the 25%; you can get some interesting sounds by pairing it with other pulse-widths, but you have to sacrifice a channel.
Aside from the popping - accidentally use a 25% alongside it and you run the risk of cancelling out the sound.
I can't help but wonder how much more it would have cost to make the fourth voice a 37.5% pulse instead of the 75%.
