I'm kind of a newbie at this stuff. I like this song and found it easy to hear each individual part so I decided to do this. I'm sure there's a hundred better ways I could make this and it has probably already been done, as far as I know, but oh well. I don't think the Namco 163 bass part is very accurate but it sounds fine to me, and I'm a little bored of playing around with this.
Updated it based on Are64's version. I touched up the base pattern on it so it isn't the same thing every frame, kind of like my first edition was, but I fixed it. For a while I didn't think I was gonna do anything else with it, Are64's version sounded pretty good, but I got a flash of inspiration from listening to it a lot. The added percussion isn't like the original, but oh well.
Sounds like it needs to be faster, I haven't heard this song that much so I can't comment on it's accuracy, but it sounds pretty good, you just need to work on volume and fadeouts and you'll be good

Besides volume and fadeouts, I think you can improve the song by adding some percussion to it. Maybe some simple hihats?

Out of all the unpublished messing around that I've done, I'm pretty sure percussion is my weak side. Also, I probably would have added some crappy percussion if I heard it.

Hey, covers don't have to be super-slick-exact, plus I'm just giving you an idea of what you could do. If you want to use the original percussion go ahead it's your cover

FamiTracker's like guitar: it's tough to start out because it seems like everyone is better than you. However, the only way to get better is to practice, and before long you'll be great.

I'm sure people would get scream at the screen if they listened to the unfinished crap I have lurking on my hard drive. I am working on an improvement to this based off of Ares64's modification of the first thing. So far it's just the bass I fixed by doing some work on the patterns and frames but I am considering doing the percussion.
