This song got stuck to my mind yesterday, and I decided to make a cover of it. I used VRC6 and the same technique I have been using in my Megaman Battle Network covers. It still needs some work, so if I change anything, I will update this.
EDIT: moviemovies1 made a fixed tempo version of the song. It's down there. Thanks a lot for it!
Really nice cover! I don't seem to hear any mistakes except for a timing error in on the lead sound in frame 01. But as much time I have on my hands, I fixed it for you.
As I said earlier, nice work!
Thanks a lot, but that one tricked you, because the timing was right, at least in the SPC I have. Listen to it carefully, it really is like that, believe it or not! Maybe all the confusion is because in all the other frames the timing is different than this one. Thanks again for the fixed FTM, I appreciate the fact that you spent your time on it.
And out of that subject, why is there a unused instrument in the module?
EDIT: [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67MPxnPHBNk]Here is a Youtube link to the original song.
Thanks to both of you. I updated the files. They have some volume changes and some Axy effects here and there.
EDIT: I updated again. I deleted some notes from the Sawtooth channel at the end of frame 08, which made the song sound weird. It's basically copied from danooct1's version (I mean copied, not pasted!), so some of the credit should go to him.
I hadn't heard it in a while, so I must have forgotten that the first section has that note a little earlier in the original.
As I said before, good work!
Yes, it should. However, I left it with tempo 150 because of those G02 and S02 effects. Didn't want to change them.
Lately, I found out that I mixed note cuts with G02 effects, which is useless considering we have a Sxx effect which delays a note cut. Simply brilliant.
And thank you both. Patashu: I'll leave it like that, because I don't want to break the consistence it has.
