One hour.

You've been back one hour.

And already you're bumping topics.

As far as I know, you can bump topics as long as you are being helpful and the topic isn't over a week old. I may be thinking of another forum I go to often, but this isn't that old of a topic.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT NSF!? Your song is really good, but the nsf was so weird that it made me laugh. I think that i have a lot to learn from you. Your songs are amazing.

The problem seems to be caused by the hanging 320 command used in frame 01 of the sawtooth channel. What appears to happen is every time a note cut is used, in the NSF this is reflected by a channel disable, which I think sets the frequency register value to the maximum value possible (essentially silently playing the lowest note it can). So what you hear is the slide going from that lowest frequency to the target note, instead of the last played note.

This is only speculation and I could be wrong, but if I am right it could be worth investigating and perhaps filing a bug report about this.

I agree with jrlepage. You should fill a bug report. It still sounds funny though.

The starting value for the 3xx slides on the VRC6 saw is bugged, it looks like. It's consistently much higher (i.e. lower pitch) than it should be.

It's not at a maximum value, I don't think, just at a wrong value.
