After some more experimenting, I've realized that I flipping love VRC6. And that these tracks are a rediculous improvement over the last ones I had up.

- I am so damn proud of how Sting Chameleon came out. Dat sawtooth bass, oooh.

- Don't mind the X1 Boss theme. It's still WIP, but it's on the file anyway, so it's here.

- Obligatory X-Hunter Stage cover. The opening was hella tough to figure out.

Whenever you have problems figuring out the original song, use OpenSPC to make an IT file.

Really awesome covers by the way, especially that last one.

If you think VRC6 is good now, try messing around with crazy pulse width arps. You can make interesting effects with slow, shallow changes or rapid sweeping/looping ones alike.

Comments:

Sting Chameleon: The instrument 13 notes in pulse 2 could benefit from being boosted up one or two volume units. VRC6 pulse 1 and 2 really feel like they should have crazy pitch bends in there somewhere.

X-Hunter Stage: This is sweet but I think the pitch bends need to be slightly longer/more dramatic, because one of the memorable things about this song is how awesome its pitch bends are. Did I mention pitch bends? Pitch bends pitch bends pitch bends... (Hmm, maybe vibrato the pitch for a bit after the pitch bend ends?) Also, maybe try a more colourful noise snare? This one's kind of...blocky. We happen to be assembling an ftm full of snares in a different thread, maybe one of them will be to your liking!
