I want to see how many different snares are out there. If you've made or found a cool snare, add it to this ftm, tweaked so it is intended to play on 0-#.

To start off, here's the Konami Snare.

Well here's a snappy, laser-shot style snare.

added mine and also put them in their own separate songs.

edit: "noise-only snare"... sorry, i couldn't resist adding my bucky dpcm/noise combo snare. i've been using variations of it a lot lately.

Well gyms cheated so I can too! I'm rubbish at noise-only anyway.

Here's my really splashy Gradius sampled snare, appropriate for 2-step beats or just slow BPMs.

If you make the first frame of its arpeggio envelope a 1 or 2 instead of a 5, it becomes even punchier!

yea, it's the difference between 1 and 2 giving it a punch and 5 giving it a snap. i really like this snare, the release gives the illusion that there's some reverb on it.

i made another one. and yes, i know, noise-only, but i've been using it for quite a long time and it sounds best when used with dpcm channel. still, you can mute dpcm channel and there you go.

Robotronus: you forgot to add your snare to the song list, so I did that.

Also I tweaked mine a little. I think it does sound better starting on 1. Thanks Patashu. Sorry we're shitting all over your noise-only drum thread.

Without having to download them all - why does snares8 only have 7 snares?

robro made an edit, he tweaked his snare, so he called it snares7 after that.

Ah, silly me. I should read more carefully. Just making sure someone's snare hadn't been accidentally deleted.

Your snare is pretty neat, Ares64.

Why are there pitch macros in some of these?
