The Sleng Teng riddim, first heard in "Under Mi Sleng Teng" by Wayne Smith (Produced by King Jammy) in 1985, is the bedrock of digital reggae.
The original was created on a Casio MT-40.
Now you can dance to it in NSF format

[quote=Naff_Natty]This is awesome! You've got it sounding absolutely sweet. I shall be most definitely studying your techniques for delay/reverb.
Any chance of a complete and rounded version from you?

Hey Naff_Natty, thanks a lot man! I was hoping you'd hear this.
For the delay, I was trying to approximate the sound of the Roland Space Echo in multi-head mode. It's kinda brain scrambling to keep track of two cascading delay lines, but I found the results pretty satisfying.
The reason that I juggled the notes between channels was because it sounds cool in stereo, panning back and forth like that.
I suppose I could make a longer dub of this sometime. If I do I'll post it up here!

Well, this sounds like you intend to mix it down, which means you have to produce a full version of it!
Yeah, it was a little annoying trying to listen to what you'd done with one line, only to discover that the line had jumped to another channel!
