Hello. Having no prior tracker experience, and having discovered the high degree of talent behind many of the works in these threads, I decided to refrain from posting anything until I spent at least three months studying Famitracker. The three months have now passed, so here are four songs. I hope you'll enjoy them.

One further thing you should know ... I've had severe tinnitus since 2007, so I can't hear my songs very well. I did my best to visually make sure there weren't any mistyped notes or forgotten 400 commands, etc., but some mistakes might have slipped through.

And finally, thank you jsr for this wonderful program and your generosity for making it freely available.

These are incredibly imaginative and well-crafted. Looks like your studies have paid off.

Welcome to the forum! Here's hoping you stick around.

Who is this guy who suddenly appears out of nowhere and drops a frigging gorgeous thirteen-minute epic on us?

Amazing stuff. #4 (Sans Deli) is especially insane, wow (and you've been using this program for three months, as your first tracker, with tinnitus?) Can't wait to hear more of your music.

You're not like, some distinguished member of the chiptune community in disguise or something?

Oh by the way, your style is very unique and I sort of love you

kthnxbye

EDIT: You might just be one of the best FT musicians out there, seriously.

Well... this is quite the change in new member quality...

um...

Wow.

Welcome to Famitracker, Pancho. I'm sure this community will be very proud to have you as a part of it.
(I second Zeph's statement about you possibly being one of the best FTers out there)

My NES is going to have a fun time playing these, and I'm gonna have fun listening to them from it.

EDIT: 10 minutes into San's Deli a little part plays that sounds exactly like a part in a short loop I did (with Bradley/GamingCakes)...

Wow, thank you all very much for the kind words. I did not expect this kind of response. I feel truly honored.

And feel free to modify/remix these songs as you wish.

I'm going to take a little break for a bit and spend some time looking into the Namco 163 module. It appears there's a lot to learn there.

All the best,
PV

Jeez, man. I uh... wow. Do you have some kind of classical training, or music theory education? Your works are really complex but weave in all sorts of things for me to nerd out over. I especially enjoyed those smooooooth time signature changes.

Jeez, I just decided to finally start studying this program today and I can't tell if this is encouraging or discouraging for me. While I obviously know next to nothing about FT, excellent music is excellent music. Count my mind as one of the blown ones.

May I ask what your study methods were so that I might hope to produce something 10% as good in 3 months?
