First of all, as the title says, you'll need [url=http://famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=3210]0.3.8 beta 5 or else the FDS channel will sound all kinds of fucked up.

This was to be my entry into the [url=http://famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=3768]latest Demo Compo but I ran out of steam and had to drop out due to prior obligations. Anyway, I'm fine with it since, having listened to the entries, there's no way in hell I would have broken into the top 3. Having said that, I'm still somewhat happy with what's there which is why I decided to share it in it's unfinished state.

I'm using alternating Fxx values in an unusual way to not only create a swing beat but also to create an odd time signature: 7/4. It's kind of a prog-metal thing, or at least that was the idea. The final version would have a lot more "parts" but right now there's basically two and the the transition between them just isn't there so it's kind of awkward.

Anyway, enjoy. I'm very receptive to critiques and suggestions because I want to get better.

PS: it helps if you listen to this LOUD

Not bad at all, Would have been kool to have a little bit more variation on Pulse 1 but other than that the track is good.
