This tune isn't quite finished yet but I was wondering if you could help me name it. Have a listen, it's quite clearly about someone riding a camel with vim at sunset over the desert and into Egyptian Hell.

I didn't think that "Riding a Camel over the desert into Egyptian Hell" was that catchy a title though. So at first I thought maybe I could call it "Thrust of the War Camels" - a bit like "Charge of the Light Brigade" except without copying the word "charge," and also involving camels. I realised this might invoke some puerile response though, and I take my work ever so seriously.

So then I thought, well, what's the name of Egyptian Hell? It turns out it's called "The Tuat." Ponder if you will the title "Thrust into The Tuat"...

So then I thought of the Egyptian God of Hell - Osiris. We can't thrust into him though, so I came up with "Escape from Osiris". At last, a vaguely reputable sounding title. And yet... now the tune is labelled as being about running away from something rather than charging something! This will never do.

What do you think I should call it?

Also, do I need help and can anyone recommend a good doctor?

What's wrong with calling it "Arabicky Egypto Thing"? It's catchy, and it avoids all the hyperbole.

Islamic Megaman, anyone? I could imagine this being played if he were riding a camel alongside Afghan Mujahideen fighters. :P

@Moot, my tunes are hyperbolic. They need a super-awesome hyperbolic title!

@Tech, I don't think I'm qualified to call my tune "Islamic Megaman" because I've never played Megaman. In the chiptune world I realise this is a transgression of the highest magnitude. Oh well.

C'mon guys, I was expecting some witty responses to this!

You should call your song khepri_pants. I thought it was a good pun.
Perhaps Nut Aten out of ten, but good nonetheless.

Anubis posting in this thread, but I'm getting bored.

I'm going to go play with my left Nut until it is Ra or Khnum, whichever comes first.

I can't think of anymore puns, maybe you can Sphynx up some better ones.

Pretty neat track, man!

As for a name... well, I'm not the best for these decisions (unless you count "FUCK YEAH RACE CARS" as a good song title,) but "Pyramid Panic" came to mind.

"Pheromones"

"The Olympic Demon Camel Al-Qaeda Triathlon Debacle of 2012"

"Baby Discovers Legs Enable An Efficient Means of Moving from One Place to Another"

"Oliver Cromwell Fell Down The Well" (aka) "Lassie Was A Rolling Stone"

"Slobberhouse 5"

"Two Tickets To Pair Of Dice, WTF Am I Supposed To Do Now, Sammy?"

"I Took A Camel Tranquilizer, but The Camel Fell Alseep"

"Bryant Gumbel"

"Knick-Knack, Paddy-Whack, Camel"

also,
"My Neck, My Back, The Tuat"

There's an albums worth of seriously compelling titles. Obviously, I've spent a great deal of time and effort coming up with them.
They are my free gift to you, good people of FT forum.

Haha, ask and ye shall receive.

My favourite so far is "Knick-Knack, Paddy-Whack, Camel"! Can anyone top that?
