Two problems with volume: a lot of the instruments are blaring at full volume and the triangle channel cannot have a volume envelope. It's either "on" (volume 1-15) or "off" (volume 0).
In addition, the sawtooth wave has freaky rules for its duty cycle (Vxx command) and you can study that [url=http://famitracker.com/wiki/index.php?title=Vxx#Sawtooth_usage_notes]here.
The song *is* good, though. I kinda like it. The chords work okay and the percussion works well. It just needs some fixes.
It's evolving pretty well. For example, I really liked the pulse waves in the background from frames 0A to 0D that weren't in the original.
Also, the volume control definitely is better. Much better. I listened to the original again without changing the volume on my computer, and my earbud practically blew my eardrum up. Now the it's easy to tell which sounds are lead and which sounds are not.

Also, can we get some more feedback from other people? I'm not advanced enough to pick out small problems and there is probably still more room to improve, so maybe someone with a better trained ear will be able to identify more things and be able to teach you how to improve them.
