Hence the title, this is the first song I put effort into.
Pre-listening notes:
-There's a part in the middle of the song that I believe is a bit off beat/scatterbrained
-Wasn't quite as "emtpy" as I talked about in an earlier post of mine
-Any advice on section transitions?
Here's a YT video of it incase you don't want to download my file:

*note: I accidentally cut out the background "hum" note on the last ending chorus*
A Youtube link? On the Famitracker forums? Never in a million years!
I understand I made a slip and forgot the FTM, I never knew that YT links were bad; I'm freaking new! There's no need to be like this, guys.
I was poking fun at the community more than you, to be honest.
I did listen to the FTM and it left me unimpressed, so I didn't really have much to say. I agree with cak though; it does need some kind of volume control. You forgot to reset the volume after that A01 slide in frame 01 as well, so throughout the whole rest of the track the squares are super quiet.

It's a bit repetitive and could have probably used some more effects (vibrato, etc.) as well as aforementioned volume control.
Also, you can click the arrow next to "Pulse 1", "Pulse 2", etc. to open up another effect column (unless having e.g. 400 and then A00 immediately after was for some sort of effect, but it didn't seem to be.)

I did that to negate those effects I put in earlier; and I do agree I could toy around with the effetcs a bit.
I'm fairly new at this and literally learned how to use the basics of it in less than an hour, so I believe I'm fairly shaky on all aspects of this program.
Thank you for giving me critique; I was getting a really bad impression of this place.
I boosted the silent/quiet parts in the ftm to get a better idea of what you were shooting for.
I thought the melody was actually really good. The bass could use more rhythmic variation so it's not just "bbbbbbbbbbbeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwww" all the time. The drums are a bit better but could also use variation.
Your volume choices are strange in places, and yeah you have a habit of turning the fade effect off before the next note (rather than on the next note). I dunno if you're familiar with hexadecimal numbers, but F (15 in decimal) is the default/loudest volume. It looks like you used 9 as max and 1 at the quietest part, which is virtually inaudible.
I hope I'm not coming off as too critical...I think you have potential as a FT composer, and the main flaws here are technical ones.
