So, upon loading this demo onto my USB cartridge, I was greeted with a little tune written by Nordloef whilst my gameboy's LCD was putting on a little performance for me. It consisted of dithering, shading, bouncing, spinning and a tunnel, but mostly that song...

...that I'm now covering.

Also, there's the actual ROM if anyone else wants to try it.

EDIT: I probably should have added that this isn't complete before anyone else sees it.

You should probably know that Vxx doesn't work in Beta 5 (jsr has fixed it for the full release though)

Also, if it isn't too much to ask... once everything's settled, is a recording of this possible?

Sure, but you'll need to make a version with a quieter N163 I think, just to be on the safe side. On the real chip, the fewer channels you enable, the louder it is relative to the 2A03. I'm not sure whether Famitracker emulates this (because at that stage, when you're dealing with relative mixing like this, it's down to the actual circuitry inside the cart, not the chip itself - that's why I use King of Kings for 5-8 channels and Megami Tensei II for 1-4 channels).

I Was going to say I could just export as 8 channel (but that would be lazy).

I'm also thinking of doing a 2A03\07 ONLY version by moving the bassline to the triangle, and the Nampeggio to Pulse 1.

Took the Namco down to 0x07 from 0x0A.

But then you would hear the dreaded 15 kHz signal and a lot of aliasing as a result.
