My second cover on FamiTracker! (Ristar: Level 4-1 "Du-Di-Da!!", on the Sega Genesis/MegaDrive)
Was a bit tricky for the DPCM channel, since the original game on the Sega had a sound driver that could combine two PCM samples in software! So I had to "fake" that a bit by pre-rendering them :P
(Takes up so much ROM space IMO, though.)

Suggestions, tips, opinions, and etc. are very much welcome! :D

Geez, I've been waiting forever to see someone attempt a Ristar cover. :P

Nice job on this! The song was almost instantly recognizable, and the dual drum/instrument samples are pretty clever IMO.

If you change the speed to 4 and the tempo back to 150, you'll get 225 bpm and eliminate those occasional hiccups.

Thanks! Just tried that, and it seems to have worked! :P

(On a side note, beings that I already have these samples extracted/spliced, I'll probably start working on this game's awesome Credits theme lol)

An update! :D
Here's my WIP version of the Credits theme (On a side note... Jeez, that FM "Distortion Sweep" near the end was *really* tough to recreate! :P)

EDIT: Consolidated both songs into one FTM, and improved/fixed them both up a whole bunch. :P
