Hello everybody , wanted to try my luck at this. Started trying to create original stuff , but somehow they don't seem to go anywhere. Anyway, without further ado, i present you the intro to 8 eyes. Seemed pretty simple and is pretty good for practice (well at a novice level anyway). Any thoughts on that? It seemed so simple that i only used an instrument and the only things i messed with were the square duty and volume. Any tips on improving?

Well, you could do a jazz or hip-hop remix, complete with drums and vocals. XD That would be interesting.

Sounds goddamn spot-on to me. Well done.

Tips for improving - Lurk moar. Also, experiment with effects you aren't comfortable with or have otherwise ignored.

Here are the drum samples ripped straight from Mother...

I'll try to experiment with as many styles of music as possible to get acquainted to every possible effect.

Also thank you very much for the sample!

I meant [url=http://www.famitracker.com/wiki/index.php?title=Effect_list]effects, but I certainly won't discourage attempting a variety of genres on your journey. :P

Long time no see. Tried to improve, but it seems i need to work on tempo (had some issues with ducktales and mario 2 theme). So , tried to do the dungeon theme from zelda 1 (how original), and the classic "you got an item" sound from zelda 2.

i don't have as much time to work on ft as i want, so this is gonna take a while.

any comments, especially on the dungeon theme which i just can't seem to get it right?
