Okay, so after some days of looking for a song to make into a 8-bit remix, I found this one.

Please note that it's unfinished. I just wanted to show it as it's now so I can get some feedback and to know how to fix the problem with the pitch slides. You'll know it when you hear it.

NOTE: You need the latest beta with Namco 163 support to play this.

Because a known bug of the beta is that the DPCM channel won't work if you enable less than 7 channels (unless I read that wrong).

EDIT: Now that I read the file that nobody reads, I relalized that this bug does NOT exist. Working on removing the extra channels (if I get more time tomorrow)

Besides, I don't even know how much channels I will use, so I'll leave it as is for now.

You're probably using an older Beta then. At least you don't have to suffer by a 15kHz hiss all the fucking time.

You should use Qxx and Rxx pitch bends. They are easier to work with when going for precise pitch. If you are using Beta 3 though, they won't work.
The reason the pitch bends sound off seems to be because you have incorrect notes. I think so anyway. I am not fully familiar with the song.

Look for the SPC files and SPC700 in Google. It might help.

OR, look for the song in youtube.

By the way, this is the SNES version.
