A while ago, I made a bgm for my adventure game. I thought I would use it for a title theme, then I realized that it wouldn't fit very well for a retro title screen. I would make some single channel music for that. I can't really figure out where else it would go. Thanks.

Very nice! Glad the viola finally gets some attention, standing in the shadow of the violin. As for a use, I close my eyes, and imagine an "end credits" cut-scene for a game. Either that or prologue. Or, heck, both!
Some other places I've tried to conquer:

This is great! So much emotion.
I can see it as kind of like "the warrior accepts his journey, and is ready to begin his quest to save the whatever from imminent destruction because of the evil bad guy who killed his family."
Well, perhaps it would fit in almost like the Megaman II intro in that it appears before the title screen.
But then again, this theme seems like a sequel-ish theme. I mean, the beginning sounds like "10,000 years ago, four brave heroes sealed away the darkness and established an era of peace. But the darkness is escaping, and the world once again needs the power of the <insert something here> to restore the balance!"
