Farewell Hyrule King, from the end of Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, which is a redone version of the castle theme from Legend of Zelda: a Link to the Past.

Also, I can't seem to find it, but there was a post I saw a few days ago asking how one makes a song sound "sad." But to whoever made that post, if you see this, then note that this song, as compared to the castle theme from Link to the Past, is really a perfect example of how to do that. Listen to both.

Thanks for introducing me to this song. It sounds nice.

To make it sound even better, you could use the extra channels as echo, chorus, etc.

Also, a note cut is missing on the triangle at the beginning of frame 6.

Also, the timing seems a bit off on the melody at the start. Move the A#3 down one row to 1B instead of 1A (or 27 instead of 26 if you don't use hex).

Also, the arpeggiated notes at the end could be more accurate. Sorry for all the nitpicking, just trying to help. Keep it up man!

Tadpole, about the timing, moving the note down doesn't seem quite right either. It sounds more correct to me where I put it. But I went ahead and messed around with the Gxx command, and delayed it about, so now it's about in the middle, and sounds more correct.

Also, I don't exactly understand what you mean about the arpeggiated notes? Do you mean the MMC5 squares in 07-08, or the 2A03 squares in 09-0A?

It sounds better now with the Gxx commands.

You're missing a note cut on the 1st row of frame 6 mmc5 square 2.

The arpeggios I'm talking about are the 2a03 squares.

One last thing: When you use 2 channels for the same note, octaved or otherwise, it can be interesting to detune one of them with the Pxx command. Also it can be interesting to use different duty cycles between the two channels.
