My one GOOD original work.
And it's old...VERY OLD. Like, 7 or 8 months old. I got bored at School, so I made this on the spot. I found it...okay, but I promised that this one would be the next post, so...enjoy.

Ha. The drum and bass combo in the beginning reminds me of Batman stage 1.

This is kind of discordant. I liked it better with VRC6 square 2 muted.

I'll have to agree and disagree with Necro on this. While it does feel discordant at some parts, I think it's essential to give it that gypsy, desert-ish feel your going after. Maybe some parts could have different leads, but I wouldn't suggest muting it.

Over-all I really liked the track, as you might know I have a weakness for egyptian, arabian styled tracks.

Yes, that wasn't very constructive at all, was it?

My pointless observation aside, the drums and bass are actually my favorite part of this track. They're not only competent, but interesting as well.

I don't like the aforementioned square, but Fezuke has a point... its not without it's charm, and it does add character to the sound.

In retrospect, I hope my comment wasn't terribly discouraging; it wasn't intended to be... it was just very thoughtless (and so I tend to be, sometimes).

Back when I made this, I kind of had the urge to make the drums the most interesting part and make it sound discordant to give it that feel.
This was made in the middle of my Famitracker experience, so I didn't expect much on good feedback to be honest.
Today, I still feel that the drums are the best part, even if it's repetitive. Thanks for the feedback ya'll.
