'sup Famitracker forums! First time posting here, and I figured I'd share some modules I've made as of late. I don't have as much time as I'd like to track, but I do try to when I can!
Constructive criticism is heavily welcome. I'm definitely looking to improve and expand my abilities.
Also, the First Step Towards Wars cover is based on the Ys Complete version.
Thanks kindly for the replies. I can't say I expected them to get such positive response!
Pretty good! How about Damn Damn Drum next? (though you'll probably have to use DPCM)
Not a bad suggestion! I think I might do a couple of non-SD3 songs next, but afterwards, that would definitely be a fun one.
Amazing work on these! The only ability left to master now is composing.
I'm a long, long way from any kind of compositional proficiency, but every once in a while I manage to write something that I think sounds decent. Might as well upload a few!
I wrote these for a couple of games that I intended to make using Multimedia Fusion 2. Since then, I've started learning C++, so they've been put off indefinitely.
I was composing some stuff at the time, as you'll notice, at 900 BPM. I didn't really understand how frames in Famitracker worked relative to instrument settings when I first picked it up, and I became somewhat fascinated by the fact that you could do everything with one blank instrument after checking out rainwarrior's NSF importer. As a result, I decided to manually enter a bunch of instruction on each note for a while. In fact, I did this completely with my NES version of The Spirit Chaser. Might as well upload that, too. In the end, though, it certainly did help with my understanding of Famitracker (and NES music in general)!
Nope. Just making sure. Anyway, I've brought a Touhou arrangement with me today! Strangely enough, I thought of the idea for this arrange in the shower, the same place I seem to find all of my ideas.
