Awesome - I was thinking this was either going to be radical or diabolical, it's difficult to touch such classics. You've brought it to the NES very well. I particularly like the flamming snares!

Hey!
Nice job. It really does sound like the version of Green Onions that I would have expected in an NES game.
Since you used VRC6, I assumed you weren't too hung up on 100% pure 2a03, so I added a DPCM snare real quick.
That's one of the best parts of Green Onions, for me...the laid-back groove of Al Jackson, Jr.'s drums, particularly where he puts the snare. Anyway, at least you have a backbeat in there now.
