Guile's theme goes with everything, doesn't it?
This was my first completed Famitrack actually, but it's not that bad.
EDIT: This is now a remix. Add to it as much as you want, but here are the rules:
[ul][li]Only one instrument per chip (well, you don't have to, but I'd like it to stay like that for some time.)[/li][li]Do not pass this off as your own[/li][li]Remember to add your own name to the song info![/li][/ul]

Eh, not bad for your first, but it's very, very off at some parts. I fixed your first two frames in square 1 and 2.

You got to make your instruments sound more interesting, dude!

Thanks! Some of the changes I liked, but I used a cover of a cover (The Dogg's MMC5 cover, but it's actually VRC6). And by "you got to make your instruments sound more interesting, dude!" do you mean that I did, or I should have?

Here is the improved version based on yours.

You forgot to upload X3

And I mean, your instruments sound plain. The sound design is just off. Add some Vxx, 3xx, and 4xx effects!

Thanks for thanking my help

ehhhhhh, the melody sounds off in all the versions, tbh. that percussion track is really grating and monotonous, too. like others have said, work on your sound design some more. pure sound waves generally aren't very pleasant to listen to, so think about adding note cuts, vibrato, etc.

not really sure why you're limiting yourself to just one instrument. especially when you're starting out, it can be extremely difficult making anything sound good without a good set of instruments.

there's a version of this game for the gameboy. you could try covering the version that's on that version if you can find the gbs and use icesoldier's channel splitting tool. i tried and got bored

This one isn't nearly as true to the original, but I played around with the drums, note cuts, vibrato, and note sequencing.

Guile's Theme does not go well with vibrato.

Why not come up with your own version, then?
