I decided to combine my 2 favorite Expansion chips, But I don't know what to do with this track anymore. Been screwing around with it all sunday, so it is what it is for now.

This is great stuff! Be careful with multi-expansion stuff though. It's unsupported, and when it actually gets official support, anything you'll have written that uses multiple expansions might become unusable.
With that being said, you never fail to exceed my expectations do you! :) This is fantastic work, as usual.
I think you could've condensed that to just VRC6 though, if I'm honest. Just condense that 2A03 pulse echo to one channel, slam that VRC6 echo stuff on the other 2A03 pulse, and put those power chords on the VRC6 pulses (because its expanded pulse width range is beneficial to power chords). Job done!

I record (some) NSFs on hardware. Feel free to [url=http://www.famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=3633]request a hardware render.
You are absolutely right about being able to condense it to VRC6. When I started writing this, I wanted it to be BIG!!! But it ended up being what it is, I guess multi-chip isn't made for my style. I would need to write more orchestral kind of stuff to fully use the multi-chip properly.

Naw, I think you can make it work. You just gotta thin out the waveforms as you add more and more tracks. Thinner waveforms tend to sit side by side in a mix, while thicker ones tend to stack on top of one another.
VRC6 squares, N163 and FDS can all produce really thin waveforms. I think those would be your best bet for multi chip compositions.
Interesting. I'll keep that in mind if I ever do another multi-chip. I was just trying it out really. I'm probably gonna go back to VRC6 for my next compo/doodle.
