More pony stuff - homophobes beware!!

This is a pony remix of a pony song called "This Day Aria". It actually sounds quite like a Disney villain song more than anything. You can find the original here.

Not the best utilisation of the FDS but whatever!!

Enjoy~

I wish you didn't tell me it was pony related because it's a pretty legit creation you have.

I would have never noticed.

What's your appeal to MLP anyways?

It's really good.

I'll just pretend it's not pony-related

Honestly, the appeal is more the fact that it's fun to watch. It has good voice acting, great animation, and the storylines are usually good. Not to mention the good jokes, for a kids show.

Okay, let's get back on topic.

That's kind of how I feel about telling people in real life what I do for a hobby. "I write music for a 1980's 8-bit video game console". Cue all the "ew that's like old", "why are you playing baby's games", "what's 8-bit" or "why don't you make real music instead"...

>_>

Maybe some of you guys can relate...

I just disassociate myself with anyone who thinks what I do for a hobby is "gay" "queer" or "not with the times cheaaaaa buddyyyy"

I tend to find those people are a bit of a waste of space, to be honest.

Oh me too. What I'm talking about is people generally misunderstanding (or not understanding at all) what it is I do exactly. Most of the time I find myself generalising and just telling them I make music as a hobby. If they ask and seem genuinely interested then I'll go into details.
"why are you playing baby's games"
hahaha! :'D

dude, i would lol so effing hard if someone said that to me with a straight face. i wasn't aware this was commonly regarded as such a nerdy/babby/faggy thing to do.

isn't it kind of nerdy/babby/faggy to make fun of "nerds" anyway?! i mean it's fucking 2012. people are so predictable and reactionary sometimes; hilarious.

I haven't gotten this response myself but I wouldn't be surprised if I did! The other ones though ("ew that's so old", "what is 8-bit" and "you should make real music instead") I have had shoved onto my face before though. Most of the fuss happened when I got my Power Pak and made a facebook post about it. People asked what it was and when I answered they thought I was an idiot to pay money for that "cheap toy".

I don't talk to those people anymore. :)

I can totally relate to you Jrlepage. I'm still totally shy about this hobby because of my heavy metal guitarist past that keeps following and haunting me. People don't get why I waste my 'Talent' on music with bleep bloop noises. I tell them I grew up with this music for many many years and on FamiTracker I can write stuff that I can't actually play on guitar, so I can go as crazy as I want with my music. Anyways, I wish I knew most of you people for real. It would be so great to share this passion with others in real-time. At least i've got my brother to do this, just wish he'd post his stuff here.
