I just joined, but I've been using Famitracker for a while now. I waited until I learned all the tricks and gimmicks in Famitracker before deciding to actually post something. Anyway, I made this to sorta test where I'm at with Famitracker. Please tell me what you think.

It seems like you have a very good grasp on the tracker, and your song is pretty cool to begin with, it just gets a little repetitive.
I like a little more variation in my music.

Overall pretty good job!

Good job, my only complaint was that the frames 0A and 0B didn't seem to fit in with the rest of the song.

I'm pretty new to famitracker as well, but i like this tune alot. Couple of quick questions.

1. you have the volume set to "A" in your tri channel. if my memory serves you can't change the volume on tri channel, but i may be wrong.

2. you use the S effect on almost every note. how is the delayed note cut affecting your melody?

3. on frame 08, on your vrc6 square 1 channel, you have a #4 tremolo effect set to 00. wouldn't the values have to be different to create the effect?

Okay I'll Answer Question 2 and 3, because your right about One, I just had a Stupid moment.

I use the not cut, becasue I need notes to end VERY quickly or they'll drag on until a new note comes along. I really only use this effect when I have 2 of the Same not playing after another or I want a clear crisp cut between notes so it sounds nicer.

On Frame 8 I wanted the Vibrato Effect to STOP. See effects will stay consistent on channels unless a new amount for the effect is set. That's why I put 400 on Frame 8, to stop the vibrato effect.

Yeah I didn't like that part that well, I just kinda thought of sumthing to put in the Bridge so the song could reach the end. Glad you liked it though.

that said there are instead a lot of rows where you forgot to put a 400

Just noticed, I now hang my head in shame. Thanks for the reminder.

*edit. There is no volume control for the triangle channel. it's either on full blast or not at all. the only thing that affects it is DPCM.
