Hey all, I'm relatively new to Famitracker. This is pretty much my first actual attempt at doing anything with the program, and as you can see I don't really know what the heck I'm doing.
If y'all could give me tips or point me in the right direction as to where to begin, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Cool! This is a good cover, and very true to the feel.
Only one thing (and this has happened to me before): when you do a pattern break, do it on the line before the one you want to start back on when you return to whichever pattern you are jumping to next.
Say if you want to jump to, say, frame 01 and you have 48 lines in each frame (0 - 47 that is) and you're on your last frame (and of course you want to cut that last frame short to, say, 32), then put your pattern break on line 31 and not 32, otherwise you'll have 33 frames instead (as in the computer world for some reason 0 is counted as a number before 1 so 31 would technically be the 32th digit - confusing, ain't it?).
However, there is nothing wrong with the notes, nothing wrong with the instrumentation, or any of that (from my perspective - you might get a few people here and there that will see flaws from time to time, some more harsh than others on that but nothing to take to heart - forums...), so keep posting Resquall, keep learning, and by all means stick around.

I wouldn't say you're completely in the dark about this program, and you seem to have a good grasp on a few effects and such, and this is a really good cover compared to what MOST first timers have to give us. The only real tip I have to give you is when covering Gameboy music, You can make it sound a lot more accurate if you use the FDS chip (or the Namco 163 in the new beta) to emulate the custom waves in a gameboy, but that's a little later in your tracking life.
EDIT: HOW COULD I HAVE FORGOTTEN THIS? WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!
