Ahoy hoy. Been a while since I posted something here, so here's something I put together in about an hour. It's a cover of a song by Gabriel Fauré, called "Après un rêve" (After A Dream), Op.7 No. 1. The original ([url=http://conquest.imslp.info/files/imglnks/usimg/e/ea/IMSLP24047-PMLP54610-Faur___-_Apr___une_r__ve__Op._7__No._1__c_.pdf]score) was written for piano and voice, but I used the piano+cello version for reference for my cover.

I use the VRC7 all the time these days, it seems.

Anyway, here's the [url=http://dl.dropbox.com/u/34026765/apres%20un%20reve.ftm]FTM (and [url=http://dl.dropbox.com/u/34026765/apres%20un%20reve.nsf]NSF). Enjoy~

Very MIDIesque. I enjoyed this quite a bit.

Beautiful work, JR. I loved the piano instrument, and I was particularly fond of your tempo control. May I request that you do some Satie, and especially some Debussy? Hearing Claire de Lune done in this manner would be delightful.

but dude

rainwarrior already did an awesome claire de lune cover

hell, he did the entire suite, it's glorious

EDIT: Well, he didn't use VRC7, so it doesn't sound OPLish by any standards. But well, it sounds really great

There's room in this world for more Clair de Lune.

(Thanks though.)

I really like this. It's well arranged and not to mention very calming as well.
