Oh wait it was madbrain, sorry I thought it was Coda. Nevermind.

Also, the pitch bend is in the original sample; not sure what you presume it has to do with or without Famitracker.

well rain, using raw PCM on doggtales allowed for great sound quality on the sample side, and IIRC, in certain portions of the song it overlaps 2 uses of the samples for echo. Something hard to do on DPCM, you'd need to use twice as many samples.

Is it a cover of something?!?

(wouldn't be the first time I've inadvertently ripped off a tune!)

IT should be noted that I can't read.
So it is original.

Though, SQ2, pattern 01, 03: rows 08-30 sounds SOOOOOO familiar. That might've been inadvertantly stolen

I guess if you're used to DPCM, and you've never heard raw PCM, it does sound "great" in comparison. :p

For an NSF.

And if you ignore the fact that the samples are SMOKE WEED EVERYDAY.

Unless you find that funny, like I do. Then that doesn't make them bad. LOL

Yeah, after trying it out with DPCM I realized it does sound a whole lot better, relatively speaking; and it's also way easier to accomplish with supernsf.

This NSF is how far I got before I got bored.

Kinda late bump, sorry for that

The compo was a lot of fun, but sadly I never had the time to vote on everything

Anyway, here's what I submitted for the compo. I found it amusing that my 30 seconds long original almost scored the same as my 3 minutes long cover. I spent maybe an hour and a half last year on it, and half an hour this year. And I spent a lot more on the cover xD Another funny thing is that I received more japanese comments than english comments on the cover, because I assumed no one in japan had ever heard about dr.bombay lol.

I also attach an entry that never got submitted to the compo
It was rejected because I tried to submit two nsf's, derp. The funny thing about that is that I wanted to submit this one, and threw in Marching Spiders for fun, and the damn Marching Spiders was the one that got submitted!

You should've merged them via the Module Properties window!

Haha I know, I don't know what I was doing... I just suddenly got fed up with it and just tried to submit. I thought that if it got rejected, I would be notified immidiately, not several hours later!
