danooct1 I love your Gran Vals and Little Ships quite a lot. The character of Gran Vals is just... perfect. Smooth and simple sounding but with a detailed but subtle control.
Thanks man. I never would've had you pegged for underderderground. That shit is off da hook, yo.
I kinda rushed through HYPERSPACEADVENTURE (PACHELBEL'S PIRATE SHIP) because I kinda had to finish that dumb lil' joke this year. As a result there's all kinds of little mistakes all over the place and I didn't really put much thought into it!
As for Piranha (The Most Underrated Track In Super Mario 64), open it in 0.3.5 or else the instruments sound like poop.
Tried to keep it as secret as possible, hopefully no one guessed this was me.
I loved this one!
Maybe I'll actually put some effort into my entry next year.
(I should probably own up and admit that I used Necrophageon's CS template for this. Reason for this was that I wasn't originally planning on entering this for Famicompo. Sorry Necrophageon!)
Nothing in the history of everything surprises me less than seeing you did this.
Can't say I approve of it being entered in a competition though, considering the way it was put together (at least according to what I saw in the #mod_shrine livestream).

I bet some of you saw this on a previous thread... I didn't try to say anything about it though so hopefully I stayed anonymous for the most part...
loved this as well! it sounds better than my KDL3 cover from a couple years back.
lots of the other covers posted in this thread was among my favourite stuff too. very few people on the FT boards wrote originals though, it seems.
anyway this was mine, made in a rush on the last day before the deadline on an unfamiliar computer using an expansion i never tried before. lol. might not open/play/export correctly in whatever version of famitracker you use, too lazy to check.
See, what I did with the Original section this time was only barely original, but I thought "well, if it's in public domain, and I added to it a lot, then what would be the problem with submitting it on Original?"
BAD MOVE, HUESUDO.
As it should have been obvious to me, not everyone agreed with the idea. Though I had bigger plans for this thing, and I had to set them in motion right then. So I submitted the entry to Battle of the Bits as "Someone" (yes that's the name of the account); all the while joking around about my slip up with the Famicompo submission.
ANOTHER BAD MOVE, HUESUDO.
As it turned out, not many (if any) people found it as funny as I intended it to be. And though the tune scored high in BotB (in one section), I doubt people think well of it, which is justified.
I behaved poorly and forgot to think my plan through, and I'm sorry.
On the other hand, I noticed my cover got good comments on the streams, and I'm extremely thankful for it. However, I submitted it without putting in the final touches! That haunts me to this day. So the version I put up here will be the corrected one (I don't think you'd need the other version, it's basically the same except for a few nitpicks).
