FamiTracker
I produce hip hop instrumental songs that I call Faux-Sampled Beats. These are beats that sound like they use samples from old vinyl recordings of soul, jazz, etc... but are actually 100% composed. I just found out about FamiTracker last week. I've heard about trackers for years, but never actually took the time to use one. I had so much fun with FamiTracker that I decided to make a Faux-Sampled 8-bit beat. The VGM was composed in FamiTracker and the beat was produced using Native Instruments Maschine. I also used FamiTracker to make an 8-bit version of my intro beat that plays at the beginning of the video. Check out my other videos to see how the original intro beat sounds like compared to the 8-bit version. Hope you enjoy it!
oh neat, using a pad controller with FT is pretty fun. although i would say even this is a little less complex then what i do whenever i decide to dick around with my padKontrol.
maybe practice a bit more? it's a golden idea, but this isn't the most impressive thing i've heard.
Wow, you actually made Hip Hop sound kool. I hate hip hop with a passion and I was actually bobbing my head to the beat. 8-Bit makes everything sound better.
I agree with Mex, you should experiment furthur more. Maybe try adding some game sound effects. and a bit more variety. I still liked it though.
