What's up, guys? I'm a hobbyist composer who writes a lot of video game-styled pieces. I post a lot of my work on my YouTube channel, which you can find here: [url=]http://www.youtube.com/user/Kevvviiinnn?feature=guide
I mostly make RPG-styled stuff with EWQL, but there are a few mock-2A03 pieces lodged here and there.
Now I'm an FL Studio guy, so the bulk of my work (including the "chiptunes" ) is composed with FL Studio. I prefer composing with MIDI-based sequencers to trackers, but it's still fun to wrestle with FamiTracker from time to time.
I actually managed to write a serious piece of music with it for once, so I thought I'd share. It's loosely inspired by MexicanSunflower's (AKA squarewave9 AKA meckzdev) style, but after about halfway into it I really started to deviate and do my own thing.
Trackers still kinda give me a headache, but hopefully, with enough practice, that will all change. Nice to meet you all! :^)

definitely agree with this. took me about a year to (mostly) transition to famitracker. keep it up! oh and as a semirelated thing, here is an ftm cover of one of your songs from awhile ago.
This sounds awesome Kev. You should get on AIM more often, unless there's some other place to reach you more regularly that I don't know about (now that it's been a long time since I left the music lobby).

Whoa, okay, looking at your effects has opened my eyes to some awesome stuff you can do in this. Namely using Fxx a lot to allow for all sorts of timing wankery (for instance you could totally do triplets with 64 rows using that trick).
I have a long way to go to make awesome stuff like this. Excellent work, both of you.
Well, I made some minor edits and gave it a proper name. Wasn't really sure what to call it since it was just me doodling around with no real purpose.

Yeah, there's probably some RushJet1 in there, among numerous other influences. Your Konami thing is really what prompted me to make this, though.
