Hello all,

First, I'd like to say 'yo' 'cause this is my first thread here. Also, I've got my first finished Famitracker tune/cover/etc. It should be awfully familiar: the Dragon Warrior Overworld theme!

So yeah, if there's any mistakes, just reply to the topic; it really helps me figure this stuff out.

Sounds good, but it feels like the square has a few note mistakes. I never listened to the original's square isolated though.

Well, I was just listening to the actual song at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXIEpgFgjJ4 and so I probably made a couple mistakes.

I guess I'll work on it more and maybe I'll actually get an NSF and an NSF player that can isolate tracks.

Okay, actually put an NSF in an NSF player and isolated the square. I made a big mistake in the middle, and I can't seem to get the exact speed of the real song. I can get close, though!

With a few small changes, it becomes the Dragon Warrior 2 Alefgard theme!

I've never heard any other NES song in any game that pulls off that distinct sound.
