I'm working on covering the Ecco and Ecco 2 sound track for Game Gear.

Here's what I have so far.

The original soundtrack has all of that dissonance, I swear.

Sounds pretty accurate, actually. So far, so good.

What you've got so far sounds pretty good. I can't help but wonder why you didn't go for the FDS for the third 50% pulse. Or why you didn't remap whatever channel played the bass to the triangle, even. :p

Still though, very good, and I'm looking forward to hearing more.

Hm... I can't quite get one of the tracks to sync up with a recording of the original soundtrack.

Looking at the wave files in Audacity, they seem to match quite well to the original soundtrack, except it might be inverted.

Anyway, it wouldn't sound right mapping a channel to triangle. I'd probably use the Zxx command for volume envelopes, but that would mean I would have to track at 900BPM.

Also, I didn't use FDS because I wanted the square channels to be completely identical and the FDS is a LOT louder than the 2A03 square channels, as well.
