I love Kulor.

First time using VRC7--can't get DPCM to be loud, so here ya go. No DPCM! If I figure out how DPCM works in VRC7, there will be an update. I hope it's wonderful enough for you all.

Merry Christmas.

I advise you to have some more volume control in the FM channels. the volume shouldn't really go higher than C if you want to use DPCM

This is somewhat painful to listen to. The entire VRC7 chip needs to be quieter, and the chords are horrendously low, amongts other things. :\

Well, if DPCM isn't the best for drums, you can use triangle for it.

Better? I hope so. Still haven't added DPCM.

Haha, this is great! ^O^
I think the reason everybody was saying to use lower volumes was so that it would sound good on export...which, yeah it does sound a lot better on export (mostly 'cuz Fami seems to play back VRC7 way more quiet than every other player ever), but seems to have some issues looping. In the first pattern, be sure to cancel out any effects that might still be happening at the end of the tune!
Also in case you missed when I posted the FTM, here it is for that soundtrack if you wanted to take a look.

I'd just like to join in on the fun.

This is a cover of the one in the enhanced ftm.

EDIT: edited

Maybe some more people can come join in on covering this in vrc7 seeing as kulor doomed the thread's one-module spotlight by adding the original enhanced ost? Not trying to make you feel shame kulor t'was bound to happen at some point.

I'm glad this soundtrack keeps coming back up. BattleBeard I like it, though I think I would change FM3 in the first frame. Maybe instead of F#4 G-4 A-4 G-4, which I think sticks out badly in that voicing, I would keep the chord more closed, B-3 C-4 D-4 C-4?

Kulor, do you still find the VRC7 volume is off with the latest version? I think it was changed in 0.3.7; seems to agree with NSFPlug and some other players pretty well now.

I love the Alter Ego Soundtrack too! I would love to be able to write in that style. My stuff never sounds happy-ish.

This is awesome!! Please finish, I love the way it sounds so far :D

Oh right, I keep forgetting the version of Fami that I use is ancient now! When the sound of some instruments changed in 0.3.7, I stuck with 0.3.5 'cuz it sounded more like VirtuaNSF, which is my NSF player of choice.
I've been reluctantly porting some stuff over to the new version now, though...

Great cover!
Also, kulor, VirtuaNSF is the NSF player I use, too, but it glitches up on my computers sometimes where you open it and it doesn't show up but it's in the taskbar.
