Not just one song, and not long enough to be an OST; it's the ChipStep EP! These are a few dubstep songs I'm going to cover in FamiTracker. Don't like that I've only done brostep so far? Want to hear more of the Odyssey OST (lol?)? WELL TOO BAD I'M DOING THIS RIGHT NOW I'LL GET TO THOSE THINGS LATER.
Right now I'm working on a cover of Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites by Skrillex, arguably the most mainstream dubstep song ever. If someone could create the "YES OH MY GOD" voice in DPCM samples, I would be immensely grateful. Also, for helping me on the first song, com63 is credit to team.

Looks like I'll have to lower the quality of the samples, chop them up, or hack them in somehow; we've run out of memory.
Edit: Working on hacking them in; but I need your help. Wine isn't cooperating with FT 0.2.9; I can't save an instrument. Could you please save the instrument from this FTM from Famitracker 0.2.9 (must be 0.2.9, nothing else) and post it?
Okay, since FT 0.2.9 corrupts the FTMs after saving, this is going to take quite a bit of work... this had better work, lmao. Nothing a little (or a lot) of copy-pasting can't do.
If I could set up a VB development environment on my laptop without pulling most of my hair out, I'd do a little snip-snip of the source code to let FT let me bypass the 16kb sample limit.
Edit: I know this is still a WIP, but in Scary Monsters, some of the gibberish-sounding vocals are just the ending part chopped up and played backwards, so I think the volume envelope for these notes should match accordingly. I haven't listened to this song in a while, but I'm pretty sure more of the notes were sliding together. GJ so far!

<hipster comments on how the 2nd totally has no dubstep elements in it>
<further comments on how "kids these days" label everything dubstep>
OT, maybe take it to MML so you can have DPCM bank switching?
Or take advantage of that bug (not sure if it got fixed for 0.3.7) where you can load X samples into instrument 01 and load another .fti that already has DPCM attached to it.

Second one's not done yet, bro!
I was trying to take advantage of that bug; but I couldn't remember which version of FT it worked with, so I was trying 0.2.9 and 0.2.7. Sadly, both of them are hella buggy when run with Wine and won't save any instruments.
Yeah, I could try this in PPMCK and use bank switching. I've started using MML a few weeks ago.
Also, corrupt FTM is corrupt and this is how I name files at 3AM.
Edit:
Bradley, I've noticed that you haven't unset the 2xx effect in some places in the Triangle channel, like between frame 04 and 05 (in Bass Cannon).
Edit:
Hopefully, I should get my new laptop tomorrow; it should be able to run FT properly as it comes with Windows... Then I can mess around with that bug.

I took out some of the instruments to allow the "YESOMG" in Scary Monsters. Unfortunately, this also cancels the awesome DPCM bass drum I had, so to compensate, I made the Noise channel bass drum louder. Not sure if I should keep this or just give up the "YESOMG".

I might be able to mix the samples together, or instead of saying the whole thing, you could leave a bit out (ie. instead of "gosh" in DPCM, you could use a sound effect in another channel.)
Edit: didn't see that module there. I like the louder noise drums. Keep them.
Edit: should crescendo.
Edit: not getting my laptop until Wednesday. Why does Purolator have to be closed for Boxing day AND the day after Boxing day? Rubbish!
