I probably could have used the VRC6 expansion more effectively, but I have never used it before so I didn't really know how.

It's really a matter of personal discretion. You can use it for echoes, harmonies, octaves, etc. Plus, the extra pulse width settings give you more varied sound options (and the sawtooth makes for a more audible bass at lower frequencies... plus you get volume control with it).
The way you've used it here, you wind up with a cool phasing effect between your two square channels (V00 on 2A03 = V01 on VRC6).

By "Audible Bass" at lower frequencies, do you mean horrible laptop speakers? Triangle is quite audible on headphones, but nearly inaudible on horrible laptop speakers.

Also, rule #1, don't track without headphones on, otherwise you get a nasty surprise when you play your song with non-horrible speakers. I think my "Aurora" NSF was ruined by not using headphones.

Most people don't realize that. Here is the original...

Does a triple bass headset work as well?

Also, nice cover or whatever I liked this ftm.

Hahaha! Well these speakers aren't THAT terrible, but you're probably on to something there. I could stand to get myself some quality headphones anyhow. Anyway, I reason that if I can hear it through my speakers, so can someone else. Point taken, though.
