I'm glad you love your song (is this the former omg_donut by any chance?) To me, it sounds like something you would hear in your head if you had a terrible mental illness, smoked meth and then stayed up for a week. Sorry if I'm rude. Please keep practicing

yea im omg_donut. i had a post of me "coming out"

and my sign says omg donut. but yea man i know what you mean i like this type of music. and i feel like once i get good at getting my ideas on the tracker, you will say....

this sounds you have a terrible mental illness, smoked meth and then stayed up for a week, but its good.

haha i like bands like bubble gun octopus, iamerror, insert disc, here comes the kracken, waking the cadaver, and job for a cowboy. so that should give you an idea of why im making this music like this/

but i honestly can say that i love the fact that i can share my music with people who will listen to it then comment back.

so thanks for your feed back/

Actually, not to be rude or anything, but your music seriously sounds far from Bubble Gun Octopus (not that I'm a fan of their music; Insert Disc sounds better in my opinion).

I do have one suggestion, though; keep your drum beats steady. One of the reasons why your music sounds sporadic in this case is that your drum beats are all over the place; you have no stead beat that you can follow when you write your songs.

Another major problem is your music's notation; it's also not stable (& doesn't follow your drum beats,) but it also has too much discord, making your music sound chaotic.

I do have one suggestion, though; keep your drum beats steady-----its 2 step not a rock beat they all work with it you have to put your head side to side because the lead side is switched. not like in rock where its allways when your head comes down. (when bobbing head to music)

Don't worry; you'll improve over time. The problem is that you're still going over yourself; you're taking big leaps at a time where you need to take little steps to begin with. Sure; I can dig the fact that you want to do your own 2 Step music, but you still need to know the basics first.

A beginner can't just dive right into a complex style & not expect an extremely slow amount of progress; start small, with conventional (even basic kindergarten) songs so that you can get comfortable with FamiTracker & your techniques. Then, when you feel that you can do simple music, then try going for more complex styles.

What I mean is this; if you want to learn music efficiently, don't try to do something that you can't achieve right away. Do something that you can easily achieve & gradually build your way up to more complicated things.

It doesn't sound coherent. Maybe I'm just playing it wrong on my ancient Famitracker v0.3.5beta but with time and a little more knowledge of the program I'm sure this will turn out great!

My stuff kinda sucks and I lack motivation to finish my first original album, but I'm glad to see someone new that has the drive and imagination I currently lack.

I am inspired to start up my project again!

Early on, I thought it sounded like something the "Wait and See" company would have made.

It looks like you're just filling the grid with random notes just for the sake of having notes there.
