I had the sheet music and thought I'd do this just 'cause.

Some of the DPCM samples don't fit as well as they could have, but these were the best I could find on my hard drive.

Bass music wrong and wrong key.

"Concert bells", which should be a brass instrument, isn't long enough.

Tempo is off by alot.

obtw this is just for oh canada.

God save the queen sounds all wrong.

Actually, the original Canadian anthem was at the exact key that com63 transcribed from his sheet music. Come on, kin; you're also Canadian!

Plus, all the notes are correct, as per both com63's sheet music & by the actual sound of it (i.e.: that's how I at least learned the Canadian anthem in French & English). com63 doesn't even have a bass in any of the songs, kin; he's using the triangle to boost his sound samples.

As for God Save The Queen, it's been a long time since I've heard it & can't really comment on this FTM as per the original composition.

YOU KNOW THE ONE THEY PLAY ON SCHOOL SPEAKER SYSTEMS IN THE MORNING.

By which you mean the Justin Bieber version. </troll>

And thus the reason why people on this forum pick on you. (*Rolls eyes*)

But yeah; you need to get with the program & do more research than just listening to the 7483rd cover of a song that was written in the late 19th century. The fact is that any song can be played at any key, so long as it flows correctly.

Actually, my sheet music was published in 1978, arranged by Don Kerley, in the key of B flat. If you don't believe me, I'll scan it. XD My school's Sr. concert band (which I am part of) even played these at the rememberence day ceremony yesterday.

I made the instrument sound like concert bells because that's the instrument I play.

The triangle channel was supposed to be used for the bass drum because I couldn't find a concert bass drum sample anywhere and it didn't sound right making it drop in pitch.

I don't know the exact tempo of these songs, but God Save the Queen was around 60, I think... maybe...

Speaker systems? In the morning? Where the hell do you live? I'm from North Van and they don't do that here. Only during ceremonies and whatnot.

We're both in Ontario; our dumpy-pile-of-crap provincial education system forces the Canadian anthem on PA systems every morning (before the start of classes in all primary & secondary schools).

But yeah; the sheet music's key doesn't matter as long as you actually did the song (which is obviously correct, unlike kinkinkijkin's fallacy of the "better slightly newer version" being more correct).
