That's a strange way to loop.

Good cover by the way.

Well, I tried doing it right from the end back up to the first frame, but the loop sounded a little jumpy.

D20 on line 31 of the last pattern causes the pattern to loop back to line 31 of the first one instead of 32, which is why the loop is "jumpy". This is caused by a bug in the program and I hope it gets fixed eventually. :\

Very nice cover. Did you use NSFImporter?

Thank you, and yes I used it to help with the instruments. Most of the notes I could figure out on my own, but needed help with the Pxx commands (I'm very OCD when it comes to getting things perfect like that...)

Wow! You're my hero xD.

I loved this theme for some reason, and I even tried to cover it, but I didn't get very far, and my OCD prevented me from going on, on account of how inaccurate it was...

If only nicetas_c was still here...
Amazing cover, btw. With all of my Famitracker experience, I've never once used Pxx.

I only tend to use Pxx when I need two identical notes playing at the same time, or if a high pitch note sounds totally wrong to me. Other than that...

You're making great covers, man. Keep this up & take in as much as you can about both the music you're covering & the tracker; I'll be looking forward to your first original song (if you decide to make one soon).

Unfortunately, I have neither the expertise nor patience to make a song of my own (one that's longer than a frame, anyways...)

I'll attach one of my creations to this post, if you want to take a listen. :P

Also attached is the first part of my attempt at remaking the level 1 theme from Batman Returns. I can't get the pitch commands in the instrument right, so it doesn't sound right at the end.

HOLY CRAP!!! dsds.ftm really sounds like a great intro to something bigger. The one mistake that all beginners make, though (including myself when I first started off,) is to fill every sound channel of an expanded FTM in the first frame. I'd recommend that you gradually introduce the different sound channels as you add more frames. That way, you can have an introduction with a good, solid bass & still have an empty channel to play your lead tune after.

Well, like I said, I'm not very good at composing music, and I have very little patience with things like this. Me and some friends are supposed to be working on a game, and I'm the music guy, so I really should start getting better with this tracker. :D

Thanks, by the way.

How's this? Didn't take very long to make, but I'm somewhat happy with it. x)

Dude; that's excellent!

You're a man who knows what he's doing; keep this up! I think you're already better than I am with your skills. Just remember; it's all about knowing your instrument.
