It's called "Passpied," which was apparently by Claude Debussy.
It's not very accurate, not just because of the lack of stereo sound.

Always loved this soundtrack, excellent cover.

Makes me want to work on my VRC7 version of this soundtrack again.

I did a cover of New Messiah using the instruments, limitations, and style of Castlevania 4 in OpenMPT. Somebody requested it after seeing [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVkHtP-2DkI]this video of mine. I also did Rising and Mad Forest. Anyway, even though I was pretty inexperienced then and made a terrible remix, it was still really difficult, and it's one of the easier songs compared to the others in the OST, so I'd love to hear at least part of your VRC7 version. Doooooood, I did the whole Passepied a few months ago. It's by Claude Debussy.

[url=https://8bc.org/music/rainwarrior/Claude+Debussy+-+Passepied/]https://8bc.org/music/rainwarrior/Claude+Debussy+-+Passepied/

I took the FTM down because it's going on an upcoming album, but once the album is done I will release the FTM source. (Thread was [url=http://famitracker.shoodot.net/forum/posts.php?id=2193]here, but as I said the FTMs are gone for now.)

Wow, they sure were lazy with this game's music. I never heard of that composer, though I probably should have. I'll update my post.

Oh, good cover, by the way. Good job getting the vibrato on the wave channel.

I really like this cover. The sawtooth really gives it a nice vibe.
Oh, and Rainwarrior, I don't wanna bump your old thread so I might as well say here that your project was very impressive as well. I saw it a few months back but never shared my thoughts.

Thanks Zeph, there's a bunch more coming soon.

Anyhow, don't want to derail the thread. I'd love to hear more from GB Castlevania II. It was a really good soundtrack.
