Why am I posting this, you ask? We share a network and would be be banned if she joined.

So this is the second thing by her on the forums, the first thing was a redo I did of something she made in another software, this is her first use of FT.

nonononono

The melody actually isn't bad but it's way too full of instruments also the drums are too off

Are you two like, identical or something?
You are in music...
Are you sure you didn't make this?

And she would be banned from what? This website?
I'm pretty sure two users wouldn't be banned for sharing an IP Address... Just my opinion, though.

1. It's her first use of famitracker.

2. 5 instruments. "Too many instruments"

3. ... you just directed her shortcomings at me you know that?

EDIT: this was towards battlebeard.

And zeph, she had to learn from somewhere did she not? And a general rule for websites is no having two accounts, if they share the same IP it's basically saying they're the same person even if they're not.

I know--but the song has too many instruments at once. Seriously, it sounded better once I removed the normal Square 1 and 2 and left all the VRC6 stuff.

But the drums. You're way better than her, at least.

No, I compared her shortcomings to yours as they seem very similar. Not to say you aren't improving, though. I've been impressed with what you've been posting lately in comparison to your older posts.

EDIT: That's what I was thinking.
I also think that your friend would be just fine making a new account. Even if for some odd reason your IP was tracked, no one would care.

You read before edit, I am sorry. I'm a little laggy when it comes to internet.

I've been listening to this a bit more (unfortunately) and this sounds EXTREMELY similar to what you used to post. When I say extremely, I mean it. Even if you taught someone, their own style would still shine through the rubble...
Besides, that same IP excuse seems kind of ridiculous to me...
I'm sorry if I'm looking too far into things here, but...
Kin, are you absolutely sure this "jenna" exists?

My idea of teaching is sitting a person in a room alone with the thing in question and a couple examples.

The examples belonged to me.

And she has used musical software before. Just not this exact one.
