Hello from a relatively new (as in 'I was mostly on this forum to listen to stuff and not actually doing something') user.
Here I tried (and most likely failed) at making a Yoko Soft (aka Somari Team)-styled cover of Ken's Theme from Street Fighter II. (Just because I grew up playing a bootleg version of SF2 which was made by that team)
This game only had four (title screen, character select, Ryu and Chun-Li's themes) songs from the original game covered, and I thought to try and find out how would Ken's Theme sound in the same style.
(unnecessary information follows below)
The instruments were shamelessly ripped from the existing NSF using NSFImport (with the parameters remade in the built-in instrument editor), while the distribution of the channels is (obviously) based on how the existing themes from the same NSF sounded (that's why there is no noise track -- and most likely the reason why the bootleg songs had no noise track is because some of the sound effects are made with it). The notes were taken by ear and the VGM player's "channel mute" feature.
