Megaman has always been one of my favorite video game series, and I made the cover of the whole soundtrack of the first game.

More coming soon.

And now, let's watch this thread be bombarded with collective hate because it doesn't reproduce the original soundtrack with 100% accuracy.

*le sigh...*

As for my opinion, I listened to bits of your cover soundtrack here and there and it sounds quite fine to someone like me who has never played any MM game or listened to any MM soundtrack. So... that's good, I guess..

Keep making stuff~~

I'm actually fine with the not perfect covers.
What I'm not fine with is that you made all your instruments with duty settings and in Cutman's cover for example, Square 1 should be set to 25% duty and not 50% but otherwise it's nice!

Don't forget, nicetas_c is banned. Also, I agree with za909, nice covers.

You really need to practice before attemping anything like this again. Lots of bad notes, strange note placements and tempo inaccuracies. Not to mention the woeful lack of volume control and vibrato.

I don't think that's quite good advice, PSN, though I do -partly- agree. What I would do - because this is really good practice - is post on the forum in a thread with every new song you make so that you can get more advice more often and not waste effort with more practice at a certain level than is necessary; the more advice the get over a shorter period of time, the better you'll get.

Not a good idea, either; all that will do is make people waste their time by trolling WheeljackDude unless he shows better skills to begin with. I'd actually use rainwarrior's NSF Importer to analyze the original NSF before doing anything.
