My favourite ever music from Jazz Jackrabbit. Second-to-last level. Chrysilis. Really happy with this.

Not much creative rearrangement here. Had to adjust the drums in one place, because the nes version sounded weird, but everything else is almost identical.

Hooray for having twice as many channels as the original composer had! I could even have both square instruments playing with echo at the same time! :D

I sincerely hope that whoever I borrowed the drum samples from doesn't mind. I have no idea where I got them from, but I think it was someone else's ftm.

I'm kind of ignoring the thing with the dpcm making the noise quieter, because I'm planning on grabbing the individual channels, putting them in Audacity, and adding panning, and the dpcm doesn't interact with noise when I record them separately.

Edit: forgot the file :P

I don't think it's a problem that you used someones drum sounds. Although I usually try to find out who made the instruments and give them credit.

I really liked this FTM. But it has been so long since I played that I don't remember what the original sounds like.

The original can be heard here: [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUJGJlV_Lvo]Youtube, ignoring the sheet music part. The music that's playing is the original piece.

You can also find the soundtrack around in s3m format, though the bunch I found had some errors. Timing issues where a note plays a row early or late. Luckily, Chrysilis wasn't damaged.
