BUM
BUM BUM BUM
BUM BUM BUM
BUM BUM BUMMMMMM

Risin' up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive

So many times, it happens too fast
You change your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of a rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watchin' us all in the eye of the tiger

Face to face, out in the heat
Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry
They stack the odds 'til we take to the street
For the kill with the skill to survive

It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of a rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watchin' us all in the eye of the tiger

Risin' up, straight to the top
Have the guts, got the glory
Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop
Just a man and his will to survive

It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of a rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watchin' us all in the eeeeeye
(BA DA BA DADADADA DUM!)
...of the tiger!

The eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger

Great job! Love the echo part! and great pitch bends on the chorus part! I bet though, you can do this song with only 5 channels heh heh.

I tried it with five channels (I am *very* reluctant to use expansion chips). I couldn't figure out any way to make it sound decent.

If you think you can make it work, be my guest. :3

oh shit you've made me happy with this. I'd like to know why you use another instrument for the note-off instead of doing an envelope for it.

So I can control when the note-off occurs without having to create a new envelope for each note length.

Very nice!

The guitar sounds a bit like a 4-peice organ though... thank you for the organ.

I heard that you should never listen to this song with nothing better to do, because you will feel the need to kick ass, with there being no ass to kick.

It's more depressing when you have no bubble gum either.

Why did it never occur to me to do this? I would have absolutely *attempted* to cover this, but the end result would have NEVER been this good.

I applaud you good sir. [begins applause]

Then why not use the Note Release? Or do you just want to make sure that it's compatible with older versions of FT?

'Cause I didn't know it was there, lol. For some reason I'm a bit slow to upgrade FT (I'm still using 0.3.6, in fact), let alone actually learn the new features after I upgrade. I had a similar experience with the Qxx and Rxx commands, too... I'd kept using 1xx, 2xx, and 3xx when Qxx and Rxx would be more appropriate.

Guess I'll use note releases from now on.
